PRE-OPERATIVE INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: For your safety, failure to comply with these instructions for eating and drinking prior to your procedure will likely result in rescheduling.
You must have nothing to eat or drink for 8 hours prior to your surgery (does not apply to local procedures).
No smoking or alcohol use for at least 24 hours prior to surgery. No marijuana use for at least 2 weeks prior to surgery.
Take all regular medications at the usual time with small sips of water, unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.
Remove all piercings including tongue studs, earrings, nose rings, etc.
Do not wear nail polish, acrylic nails, contact lenses, heavy make-up, jewelry or perfume.
A responsible adult (over the age of 18) must accompany you to our office, remain in the office during the procedure and drive you home. Do not drive for 24 hours post anaesthesia.

Government issued ID is required on the day of surgery.
Please be advised no cell phone use is allowed in our office.
